Clean Up at St Peters Church March 25, 2017

Photos for 2015 Clean-Up Day -- Saturday April 25th

The Kiwanis group started doing an annual 'Clean-Up" in 2007!

Special thanks to Eagle Ranch and Jake Broyles this year, 2015,  for staffed equipment and to the City which provided bulbs for the Main Street planters and a trash dumpster.

The 2014 Clean Up Crew was a busy crew, too !  Several homes were serviced for debris, the Museum Park and Main Street Landscaping was serviced and the Masonic Lodge Parking area next to the recylcing station got a fresh gravel surface.  Special thanks to Muleshoe Rock Pit for donating gravel for the "2014 Clean-Up".

Look for our posters in 2015!

Volunteers -- even Non-Kiwanis Members -- are welcome to sign up and lend a hand!  Look for posters and let us know you want to help, or show up at the appointed time to become a part of this project.

Echo residents needing yard debris or unusual-sized discards removed by our crew, can get on our  pick-up list   by either calling City Hall, or sending us a message.

  • Hauling away yard debris that is burnable
  • Removing old appliances
  • Collecting trash in excess of normal service
  • Plantings and landscape trimming downtown
  • Painting public properties and making a few repairs

The Clean-up Day Program is particularly intended to assist those who are not able to remove discards themselves.  And we welcome able-bodied assistance from those who might want to contribute to this fine, and fun, annual effort.
